General Questions:

1. Where can I get AFI BRAKE from?
Spare part shops, workshop & our distributors in Malaysia. Please ensure you ask your mechanic to install AFI BRAKE pads every time you have your brakes replaced.

2. Which brake pad should i use for my car?
The most important is to know your driving behavior and vehicle type first before selecting the brake pad. AFI BRAKE have several types of brake pads for you to choose. Please refer the detail in products.

3. How long should my brake last?
It depends on your driving behavior. General speaking, it can last from 15,000 to 70,000 kilometers or 2 years to 5 years. The key point is to choose the right brake pads for the right driving style. For heavy duty/high performance use, we would suggest you to use AFI BRAKE Magnum, Magnum Extra-µ, Olymas-Ex or Techstar. For normal use, we would suggest you to use AFI BRAKE Olymas, Rotormate, Super Grip or Twinstar.

4. Why are my brake noisy?
Brakes should operate with a minimal amount of noise. Some noise is normal, but not exorbitant squeal, screech, grinding, groaning or banging. If you have noise problem, you should check whether you brake components, such as caliper, rotor and etc are in good condition. If everything are in good condition, then we should change to other formulation brake pads. It is because the formulation might not suitable to your rotor, or some other combination problem.
