Auto Friction Manufacturing Sdn. Bhd. (AFM) took over the production line and relocated to Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia.

We stop produced Asbestos product and only produce Asbestos Free products (Semi-metallic).

Start to develop our domestic market (wholesales and contract manufacturing service).

We established our own brand, AFI BRAKE. Also, commenced production for Low Metal and Non-Asbestos Organic (NAO) formulation.

We formed a marketing arm, AFI BRAKE (KUALA LUMPUR) SDN. BHD., with our strategic partner to target the workshops and car service centers at Klang Valley and North Malaysia area.

We formed a marketing arm, AFI BRAKE (S&E) SDN. BHD., with our strategic partner to target the workshops and car service centers at South Malaysia and Malaysia East Cost area.

AFM obtained MS ISO 9001: 2000 certification.

Participate in Expo Cintai Malaysia 2004.

We formed a marketing arm, AFI BRAKE (EM) SDN. BHD., with our strategic partner to target the workshops and car service centers at East Malaysia, Labuan and Brunei.

Auto Friction Industries Sdn. Bhd. changed the company name to AFI BRAKE (M) SDN BHD. for marketing purpose.

We formed two marketing arms and using the brand name, BREMSEN BRAKE, to target the spare part retailers and wholesalers for the medium to high end market.

We expanded our factory building.

Commenced production of Ceramic Formulation products.

AFI BRAKE obtained the Asia Pacific Super Excellent Brand Award 2006/2007.

AFI BRAKE (M) Sdn. Bhd. obtained the Golden Bull Award 2008 and Enterprise 50 Award.

Participate in Expo Cintai Malaysia 2008 (The 7th Malaysia International Trade & Consumer Fair) on 3 – 7 December 2008 at Malaysia International Exhibition & Convention Centre (MIECC).
